BeReal is a mobile social network focused on authenticity. Each day at a random time, all users have a two-minute window to capture and share a photo of what they are doing (using both front and back cameras). The app rejects filters and editing – friends see genuine, everyday snapshots of each other’s lives. BeReal’s goal is to foster “meaningful connections” by showing what friends are actually doing, not a staged version.
