Deck lets teams create boards and lists (columns) of task “cards” to organize work items, similar to Trello. Users can add cards, assign them to team members, tag them, and set start/end dates or sub-tasks. Files from Nextcloud storage can be attached to cards, and users can comment on tasks. A recent Nextcloud release added Gantt chart support: by setting start and end dates with dependencies, teams can toggle between the Kanban board view and a Gantt timeline view to visualize task schedules. Nextcloud Deck is integrated into the open-source Nextcloud server (self-hosted or cloud provider), so all board data remains under the user’s control. It is used by Nextcloud users for collaborative planning of projects and tasks within the private cloud.
