TeraShare is a file-sharing application that combines direct peer-to-peer transfers with cloud storage. When a file is shared, recipients can download it directly from the sender's computer, while registered users can also store files in the service's cloud infrastructure so downloads can continue when the sender's computer is offline. The service uses unique sharing links and supports large files without a fixed file-size limit when the sender and recipient have sufficient storage capacity.
